My male is making a bubble nest. I may not get a female for him. How long will the nest last? Will he get angry if he doesn't get his female? After awhile, will he make more nests? I might get a female later on. If he doesn't make another nest, should I not get another female?

Bubble nests are a normal part of the male betta's life. It means he is happy and healthy. He does not require a female. You can choice to give him a female or not up to you. He will never know the difference. He will continue to make bubble nests the rest of his life if he stays happy and healthy. It is perfectly normal behavior and you have nothing to worry about. Getting a female will make him build another if he is ready to mate. Not getting him a female will not harm him in any way. He will continue on in life none the wiser. P.S. If you do get a female be prepared! The fry are tiny and take special food.

our beta does this often to, he"ll keep doing it weather you get him a female or not, I think it kinda keeps him entertained?

The bubble nest will last for as long as he maintains it. He will not "get angry" if there is no female - fish don't get angry. If you introduce a female at a later time, he will make another nest. It's hormonal, not an emotional thing.
Our late betta fish, Raoul, used to always make a filmy layer of bubbly stuff on top of the water. We always just changed the water and it was gone, and then it'd be back in a week or two. You don't have to get him a female. We didn't, because we weren't prepared to care for the babies. I don't know if Raoul was angry or not. I guess he was a bit disappointed at not being able to fulfill his destiny, but he was a good pet. Do you have what you need to take care of all those baby fish?
the males makes the nests. He will continue to make the nest as long as you have him. He will be fine if he does not get a female. Male Bettas do not have to live alone though. They can be put in a community tank with other docile fish (tetras, bottom feeders) just do not put 2 males together. If you introduce a female, add 2 or 3 so that there is not one female he can zero in on. It will make the tank a bit more peaceful.

The bubble making is an obsessive/compulsive thing with them. If you remove it (when doing a water change they will just make another one. At least it gives them something to do.
