are there any lakes in uk ?

Answers:
Yes. We have a whole Lake District :P http://www.lake-district.com/

Loch Ness is a lake :) The Scots just like to re-name things like the Welsh to be special :D
Plenty. And now my mind has gone blank. There is a fishing lake near where i live called Jack's lake and don't forget the most famous lake of all - Loch Ness.
yea in the lake district scotland and i think north east england sorry i cnt be more help
Lots! The Lake District in NW England is just stunning, I usually go once a year to chill out. Best to go to the western side of the Lakes as it's a lot less busy there and it's more scenic. That side is more difficult to get to though and forget it if you don't have a car or are scared of going up very steep hills! Could come from the West coast I suppose.
ofcourse there are lakes EVERYWHERE!
