are sharks really dangerous?

Answers:
YES BUT PEOPLE DONT KNOW IT yet.
stick your hand in and find out.:):):)
Some are, some aren't. just like people!
Um, don't you watch the news? Many types of sharks are deadly. Humans in the water don't look any different than any other type of food splashing around.
I think it's been proven, most of the attacks that occur close to shore are from the people hanging out in a school of fish, and the shark is just going after the food and mistakenly bites the human. I think people don't realize how many sharks are there in the water with them very close.
its not that they are dangerous. its just that they don't know any better. if they see a human swimming they don't know its a human they just see a large blur and think that it may be a seal or something. I wouldn't necessarily swim with them or anything but they don't say hey you are a human I'm going to kill you..
The minature sharks you get at a pet store no.But if you find a baby shark swimming around the shallow end of the ocean, yea,it's dangerous.
yes they can bite off arms and legs
not all of them
some of them
Only when they bite.
You bet.
That's kind of like asking if grizzly bears and leopards are dangerous. Of course they are dangerous because there are reported attacks on people. If the attacks are, as often speculated, misidentification of humans as prey they are nontheless attacks and will continue to occur. Therefore, sharks are indeed dangerous.
NO! this a common misconsumption i went diving with the sharks and nothing happened to me i no for fact that the sharks r more afraid of us then we r of them thye only attack surfers because it looks like a seal in disstress and once they taste our blood they let go because its different from fish blood
never met one yet thankfully!
have you?
It matters if you threaten them or not..
no
In the scheme of things they are less dangerous than a lot of animals. Lions, crocs, and hippos are for more dangerous. (In fact hippos kill more people in Africa than crocs.) If you avoid swimming near river mouths, near seal breeding areas, during the twilight hours in the morning/evening, or spear fish you are generally safe.
only the ones with LASERS!
